I actually didn't enjoy photography at all when I first started out in 2018. I tried recreating the images that were getting a lot of likes on Instagram and thought there was a one-size-fits-all approach to this medium. I put the camera down and didn't pick it back up until October 2020, when I started as a volunteer photographer for my church. Since then I've met a plethora of wonderful creators who have supported me and encouraged me in my photography career. With each photoshoot I learn something new and am blown away by the power of visual communication.
I have a passion for people and for stories. I firmly believe that connecting with others is one of the most important things a person can do in life. Photography to me means communicating and connecting with individuals, leaving them feeling more special and appreciated than before.
